ECE Qualified and I have been working as an Early Childhood Educator since 2011.  I am also a qualified Social Worker

Kia Ora, I am based in Waiuku and work Monday, and Wednesday to Friday, with flexible hours to meet family’s needs.

I am a qualified, experienced Early Childhood Educator.  I am also the Mum to 2 teenage girls.  The desire to work from home when I had my children led me to take a break from Social Work and become a home-based educator.  My children love the job I do and treat the children I care for like family, creating a truly authentic home experience.

Children are cared for with love, respect, and an abundance of patience.  I am passionate about my job and offer a calm, warm, safe family environment.  With extensive knowledge on attachment, I support each child to feel safe and secure in my care, thereby allowing them to grow in confidence and reach their full potential.  I use a range of resources and opportunities, both in my home and in our local community to explore children’s interests and expand their skills, enabling them to become confident learners, who are curious about learning.  I believe in having lots of fun, laughter, learning through play, and guiding with patience and love.

In a home-based environment, ratios are very low, giving your precious child the one-to-one attention and care needed to fully support children’s ever-changing developmental needs.

We have a large outdoor area for playing and exploring and an extensive inside play area with many resources to discover and learn from.  We also utilise the community activities available in our area.

Due to my commitment in building strong attachments with children and making the introduction process as stress free as possible for you and your child, I offer a free introduction program prior to your child starting with me.
