Jennica

I am a caring and passionate Home-Based Educator working towards my NZQA Level 4 ECE qualification. I also hold a UK Level 3 CCLD and have many years of experience caring for babies, toddlers, and children up to 12 years old. As a qualified pharmacist with Paediatric First Aid training, I bring additional knowledge and confidence in supporting children’s health and wellbeing.

With a maximum of four children in my care at any one time, I provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating home environment where children feel secure, valued, and encouraged to explore and grow. I have a deep love for child development and enjoy creating rich learning experiences through outdoor play, arts and crafts, and creative activities.

My Home-Based Childcare Philosophy

I love spending time outdoors with the children, exploring nature, and doing arts and crafts. I particularly enjoy incorporating sensory tuff trays and natural outdoor sensory play, as well as storytime, music, and hands-on creative activities that support learning and development.

My learning Environment

I offer a warm, home-based setting in Paerata/Pukekohe where children can feel relaxed and at home. My focus is on creating a calm, engaging space that supports each child’s individual development through play, exploration, and meaningful relationships.
