Meet Christine
I offer a warm, happy, and loving home where your child is encouraged to learn through fun and play. I set clear, age-appropriate boundaries and believe strongly in the importance of praise and positive reinforcement to celebrate each child’s achievements.
As a mother of two grown children and a proud grandmother of four, I bring a wealth of life experience and a good sense of humour, which I love to incorporate into children’s play and learning. I enjoy nurturing each child’s unique personality and encouraging their own sense of humour.

My Background and experience
I have completed the National Certificate in Early Childhood Education and Care (Level 4), as well as the Growing Connections course. These have equipped me with valuable skills and knowledge that I use every day to support the children in my care.
I worked in a childcare centre for two years before becoming a home-based educator in 2000, and I’ve been passionate about supporting young children’s development ever since.
My Home-Based Childcare Philosophy
My philosophy centers on creating a warm, joyful, and nurturing environment for your child. I am committed to encouraging and empowering children through positive reinforcement and praise.
My learning Environment
As a Home-Based Educator, I provide a warm, welcoming, and nurturing learning environment that feels just like home. My program offers children a safe and supportive space where they can grow, learn, and thrive through play-based experiences. We also love exploring our local community, attending regular playgroups, and connecting with other educators and their children, fostering valuable social interaction and a strong sense of belonging.
