Our Educator is truly a 5+++ star carer whom I would recommend with absolute confidence to anyone looking for home-based childcare. My son has been going to Kia Ora Kids home-based care for two years and every day, I am amazed at our educator’s energy, creativity and genuine love for looking after children. Whenever I pick my son up he is relaxed, happy and full of chatter about the adventures he has had with his friends. The children’s days are filled with crafts, playgroups, parks, library visits, music groups, baking and even homemade playdough! We are so thankful for the excellent care he receives and wouldn’t want him to be anywhere else.

“My son has been with Kia Ora Kids at Home Childcare since he was 4.5 months old and he finishes today at age 5 and is off to School next week. Our educator has been absolutely amazing with him and in particular when he was a baby, the attachment and bond he formed with her from such a young age was just wonderful. For me, returning to work part time at first and leaving him at a young age was hard, but leaving him with her and knowing how well he was being cared for made it a lot easier.

My daughter has been going to Kia Ora Kids at Home Childcare since March 2023 and she loves it! We have a fantastic educator who does lots of activities indoors and out with the children. She is a lovely person and she really cares about all the kids in her care. She is professional, fun and loves to see the children thrive. I recommend her to anyone! It’s the best decision I made!

I have known Sylvie for four months and in this time, it is evident to me that she is caring, friendly and has a passion when looking after the children in her care. She takes them on numerous outings to the local park to build their understanding about the world they live in as well as supporting their social skills. Sylvie often gets down to the children’s level and role models/ scaffolds their learning, always offering praise and encouragement. The children benefit from a safe environment where fun, laughter and aroha support a holistic development approach as she strives to give them every opportunity to reach their full potential. She draws on Te Whariki and her experience to guide and support them to become confident and capable lifelong learners.

We were so fortunate and feel privileged to have had Wendy caring for our two children from newborn to school ready. A home away from home.The environment of Wendy’s homecare fell nothing short of perfect.  Always fun activities planned, walks, baking, cool craft, play, reading and a personal diary with pictures and stories of their journey together. I personally learnt alot from Wendy and was sad when the kids time had finished. Her natural warmth and caring nature made it so easy dropping the children off. Brooklyn thirteen and Lila-Grace ten, still talk about her fondly. I would one hundred percent recommend her.
