My Background and Experience
I have two school-aged children and I’ve worked in early childhood for thirteen years. I have a Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Teaching from Auckland University and a current First Aid Certificate.
My Home-Based Childcare Philosophy
I provide a flexible home learning environment, responsive to children’s needs, and tailored to their interests, and each child’s daily routines. I believe it is important to build a nurturing relationship with the child to support the child’s overall well-being and feeling of belonging in my care.
My Learning Environment
I provide a flexible home learning environment, responsive to children’s needs, interests, and daily routines. My home has a large indoor & outdoor play area, including a deck which extends to a garden and lawn. We have a separate sleep room, located down a quiet hallway.
