Jenni

Hello, my name is Jenni. I live in Mt Eden, Auckland. I have two school-aged children and I’ve worked in early childhood for thirteen years. I have a Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Teaching from Auckland University and a current First Aid Certificate.
I provide a flexible home learning environment, responsive to children’s needs, interests, and daily routines. My home has a large indoor & outdoor play area, including a deck which extends to a garden and lawn. We have a separate sleep room, located down a quiet hallway.
I offer open ended resources, such as paint, sand, water, natural materials, craft materials and construction materials for children to explore. I love documenting and sharing children’s learning and development through photos & videos. I use Story Park to share children’s learning and each child has their own art portfolio.
I enjoy taking children on community excursions with Kia Ora Kids and we live near Auckland Zoo, Western Springs, Cornwall Park, and many local playgrounds.
